  1. Rated 5 out of 5

We recommend the Twin cottages & Hostel to anyone visiting the Twin Mountains. The Hostel was very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed for our trip. Sherry and Ron showed us great hospitality. I will be forever indebted to Ron for guiding us (my husband and I) to the top of Mt. Washington. We really enjoyed his company on the trek. He is extremely knowledgeable about the mountains. The soak in the hot tub after the hike was a welcome relief. Nothing beats the gorgeous view of the mountains and the stars at the night from this property. Thank you so much for letting us stay, for the great company and for the awesome meal. We came as guests and left as friends. ThankYou! Shaeesta

Sherry and her husband were great host. I had a wonderful stay in the hostel there were three others in there but I wasn’t bothered by them at all. I have to say of all the hostels I have stayed in this is certainly the most comfortable, the beds where new, linen new and soft and bathrooms very clean and the kitchen is well stocked. The place was clean and very well equipped. Definitely recommend this place! Jerome

Please don’t discount this place from the outside. The Owners Sherry & Ron are remodeling the outside as I speak. The inside is clean, new and Sherry includes everything plus more. The bunks are handmade and built like tanks so you won’t even know you have an upstairs guest. Great place to stay for hikes on the Northern side of the Whites. Jen

  4. Rated 5 out of 5

Sherry and Ron are excellent hosts! The bunkhouse has everything you need, fully equipped kitchen, very warm in the winter, very clean, two bathrooms and very comfortable beds. My phone died while I was hiking so they let me borrow their phone to call my family and even gave me directions to get back home (Boston). Will definitely return!
